An Overlooked Commandment

An Overlooked Commandment

This blog will be very different from many previous posts.

The worldy church, headed by the apostate Nicolaitanes and Balaam ministry, epitomized by the Prosperity Gospel and Mega Churches is in direct conflict with Holy Scripture.

Those leaving the institutional churches of tradition will be castigated as part of the great "falling away", "lone ranger Christians" or such. What "they" don't realize is that in building their ministries, churches, and institutions, they are the ones who departed from scripture.

The great "falling away" is the common English translation of the word "apostasy", also meaning "to depart from".
When you understand that there is very little of the commonly accepted "church" practices given in scripture, you are closer to understanding the truth about "church" as we knew it. Who really benefits from the cameras, lighting, stage, and book sales? Do you think this is how Jesus would have done it?

1 Matthew 10:39 He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

2 Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

3 Mark 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

4 Luke 9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

5 Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

6 John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal

Six times the command is repeated. Six is the number of a man, the number of the beast, the number of anti-Christ and those who turn away from the Jesus of scripture.

John 6:66 Upon this many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
(i.e. the Jesus of the Word, -see our "Not In Scripture" article on the Home Page)

Philippians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
1Cor 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
1 Corinthians 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
2 Corinthians 11:18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh...,

Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

you decide.

The time of separating the chaff-filled worldly church (Pergamos, Rev. 2:12) from the wheat has begun.

A most bold statement! Wow! I'm very interested to know how you've come to this position.

Shalom In Messiah.
